Anonymous or Log IN |
|
Anonymous users do not need to create an
account, and they may utilize all the “general” features of our web site.
We do not know who they are, and for that reason we cannot avail many of
the special features and menus of our web site. Nonetheless,
there are many other useful features in our web site if you prefer to remain anonymous.
Log IN is for users that fall into one of two categories: “Customers” or “Clients.”
Think of a “Customer” as someone who walks into a store and is just
“looking around,” and think of a “Client” as someone who has a legal relationship with
the provider of a service.
As a “Customer” we only ask that you provide us your Email
address. We keep all Email addresses
confidential within our office and private server.
We promise not to harass you with junk Email.
Because you have done that, we can avail to you certain features and services
of our web site.
As a “Client” we already have an on-going legal “Agency” relationship with you,
and irrespective of our web site, we have computer files in our office that describe
this relationship, and these files contain your personal and business relationship. Specifically, for example, we have records
on our “Buyers,” “Sellers,” “Landlords,” and our “Tenants” with whom we do business. |

Roles |
When you “Create your Account” for subsequent Log IN’s, you will have the opportunity
to define the “Role” you would like.
Roles are used by our web site to address whether you are a “Customer” or a “Client.” If you are requesting to have the role
of a “browser” then you are asking to be a “Customer” and nothing further will be
asked of you. If you are requesting
a “Client” role such as “Landlord” or “Tenant” or “Buyer” or “Seller” then you will
be asked more questions so that we can “Authenticate” who you are.
In “Authentication” you will be asked “Your Real Name” and a secret question
like your Tax ID # to match against our computer files.
It is also important that your Email address matches your Email address in
our computer files. If we cannot match
(“Authenticate”) your answers to these 3 data requests, we can not grant you the “Client” role you requested. The following PDF file describes the "Authentication"
sequence for a "Landlord-Owner" role:
"Landlord-Owner" Log IN
"PDF". The only difference for all other Roles requiring "Authentication" is that
you may be asked a different secret question.
